frustration!!!

Well, I tried to log on to the ATT wireless web site to cancel the $8 I pay per month to not use the access I have to the internet on my phone. I forgot my password. When I tried to sign in to get my password sent to me, it told me I did not exist as a member. When I tried to sign up as a new member, it told me I did exist & took me to the login screen. After about 20 tries at this, I then tried to call the fully automated help line, which didn’t help at all. After about 20 minutes of playing around, trying these different options several more times and wanting to throw the computer out the window I decided to give up.

whew!

Finally made it through reading the posts for the weekend & trying not to laugh too loudly. I must say, at least the Bernesser boys do provide some laughs – even though they are a bit immature. It definitely takes a special person to marry into this family!!

Anyway, my weekend went well. Left work about 3:30 Friday, met others leaving at the driver’s house and were on the road by 5. After a quick stop at Wendy’s for dinner, we made it to our destination in Bloomsburg by 9. We then played poker for a while until everyone was really tired & just wanted the game to be over. I must say, by the end, even with $120 at stake, it is amazing how much you don’t care if you win or lose. In the morning on Saturday, first I learned a little bit about feeding horses & cleaning stalls (the people whose house we were staying at live in a log cabin, which was really nice, and have 2 horses). I even got to feed them carrots. Then we went to an amusement park (Knoebels) – it has free admission & is an old fashioned amusement park. The nice thing about it is that it had free admission. I was probably the most daring rider there, so did not get to ride everything I wanted. There were 2 rides that were VERY cool and I really wish Kennywood had them. You really go flying around in the air and get turned all around. They even had salt & pepper shakers, but I only found them on the way out and no one else was daring enough to ride. John volunteered, but I was afraid he would get sick all over me, so did not subject him (or me) to that!! I even picked up a couple more pennies. Sat. night was a mexican place for dinner and more poker. After the about 4 hours of sleep the previous night, it was not a good idea to play again the next night, especially so late. I was one of the last 2 in & essentially threw the game because everyone was so tired & the other girl left was getting really cranky & I was afraid of her. Sunday I realize that my lips got burnt on Saturday. Good thing I was wearing long sleeves or I would have been burnt on my arms!

It rained Sunday and after a little more feeding of horses, we went to brunch at Crakelbarrel & hit the road. That was my weekend in a nutshell. Not a bad drive. Hope to make a trip back in July.

cool to be dad

As everyone knows by now Mike and I helped Reeney’s Mom move yesterday, It was great. I stood around, cracked jokes, told Mike and Ray how to do things, and ate pizza and drank pop. Does life get any better. I hope this is the look of the future. If so, i’m looking forward to Donna’s move also.Oh yea, mike called me a JAGOFF also.Boy what I have to put upwith. Guess I’ll stand beside Jim and we can beat our heads against the wall together. forgot to use sunblock also but still didn’t get burned. Want a depressing thought? two months from now vacation at the beach will be over. I might have to have three ice creams to get over that thought. Got to make one more dumpster run so i guess I’ll go load my truck. Talk to yins again on tuesdee

Bad Dad

Well, I was a bad daddy today. Julia had tball team pictures at 10:15 this morning and a game at noon. Carie was teaching a class so I was managing and doing pictures myself today. Today was an AWESOME day weather-wise. Not a cloud in the sky and about 72 degress for a high.

So, after Carie left for her class, I went into the bathroom to complete all 3 S’s. Afterwards, we hurridly got dressed and headed over to pictures. After pictures, we went to 7-11 to get water and a big gulp and then headed to Julia’s game. One of the mom’s volunteered to watch Logan and ended up holding him for the entire game. He was great, our team played great, so everything seems hunky dory right?

NO! I forgot to wear a hat today and did not think to put on sun screen since it was cooler, so you can just imagine how red my chrome dome and face is right now! :-(

BUTT, the worst part is that even tho we have baby sunscreen for Logan I DID NOT THINK to put any on him or a hat. So, with the mom holding him for most of the hour, unfortuntley Logan has a little bit of sunburn on his left forearm and on the top and back of his head.

He is asleep now for the night and it does not seem to be bothering him. We’ll see how he feels in the morning. I went to Giant and bought some Aloe Vera ( WITH cucumber extract ) tonight just in case.

It would have only taken me 5 minutes to slap the sunblock on his head and arms, or to bring an umbrella for him to sit under, but I did NEITHER.

So, if you excuse me I am going to go and bang my head off of the wall a few more times.

Well after helping rainna’s mom move today, dad is now plopped on the couch and out cold at 8 o clock, now i realized where jim gets his ability to fall asleep while in conversation or in the middle of playing a video game. I was going to nap too but i thought that i could find better things to do like write an entry. I got some really bad sunburn today but don’t worry, it’ll be tan tomorrow. Maybe this year at the beach i won’t get roll marks on my stomach for a change. anyway’s i got nothin else to say so see everyone later…from the favorite

Howdy Doody Time

Hello all. Big thank yous to dad and mike for all of their help on moving day. It was greatly appreciated by all involved. I made it back alive, even though I was climbing 100 feet up ladders and shaking on the scaffolding, making me feel like a milkshake. I actually took that same IQ test several weeks ago when I stumbled across it and scored a 153. Now who is the smart one??? The correct spelling is Tidioute. I got yelled at again a third tiem for the yellow so does this satisfy everyone?????????????????????????????????????????? By y’all. YeeeeHaaaw Hold on to your a*s Fred!!

P.S. – I thought about what you said dad and how about this for the hand wavy thing?? (see following)

Hello, Everyone. I think that Jim noticed the correct spelling of Titiude, he just chose to ignore it. I second Marilyn’s decision about the yellow. Jim and I took the IQ tests, and I think he scored a 139 and I had a 137 (or was it 138-136?) Either way, he beat me. Oh, well. I guess I have to let him beat me at some things. The baby is napping, and I almost don’t know what to do with myself. I must say that is sure is nice to just lay him down in the crib…and he goes to sleep!!! Now, if only I could lay Julia down in her bed…

I am sure Jim was happy to hear about the game change. With it being on a Saturday, he might actually get to go!! Gotta go…I have some more couch sitting to do!
